  • Outage Management: Ability to request outage events, create real-time/future plant outage events, forecast limits and submission of outage information to various ISOs.
  • Dispatch Instruction: Communication of dispatch instruction between plants and dispatchers; Forecast real-time instructions using compliance or economic base points; Indicator showing financial return on suggested instructions; Notification of performance deviation from the suggested instruction; Consolidated view of plant's real-time operating conditions.
  • Log Book Management: Administration of operational logs (Dispatcher/Supervisor/Shift Logs); Logging of phone call conversations.
  • Unit Capabilities: Allows plant operators to review capabilities and request modifications with one source application; Validation of capabilities against operating conditions of the plant.
  • Plant Startup: Forecasts start-up schedules for day-ahead bidding; Modifies start-up schedules in the event of change in operating conditions.

  • Single system to capture and submit real time outage information to all ISOs in the United States.
  • ISO synchronization: Users can submit outage information using ISO software or calling the ISO dispatcher and the system synchronizes itself real-time with other ISO systems.
  • Dashboard view: Users can view graphical fleet wide or unit specific generation position for various time periods.
  •  Integration with market operation systems: System updates hourly limits real-time in ISO market systems in the event of a generation outage.
  • Add/Modify/Delete generation outage tickets. 
  • Easily create IRC tickets, and gain access to real-time synchronization with ISOs/internal Systems  Graphical representation of fleet wide unit generation position.

  • Once schedule outages occur in real time, they move into the GADS system. Upon collection, all data is validated using NERC Level 1 and Level 2 diagnostics.
  • Once validated, the data is used for several purposes, including internal reporting; for example, the Station Performance and Generating Outage Rate Program.
  • PowerGADS then submits this gathered data to an ISO/RTO or the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) using standard "card" formats.

  • The Ad Hoc Reporting Tool allows users to quickly create custom reports on the fly using over 100 data types. Users can save queries for future reports and further ease. 
  • Integ offers a comprehensive set of reports off-the-shelf, and Integ can also include custom formatted reports.

  • Helps management to focus efforts on being available to generate when profit potential is high. Calculates lost opportunity revenue and margin per event, per hour.
  • What-If Analysis: This functionality allows users to plan outages under certain market conditions and evaluate the economic results. Historical data can also be modified to create scenarios to assess the implication of changes in key performance metrics such as EFORp and EFORd.
  • EFORp Analyzer: Users can calculate both historical and future EFORp values for financial P&L and estimating liabilities.
