POWERRPM
PowerRPM is a capacity management system for the PJM RPM market. The system manages the entire RPM process with PJM. It allows users to submit capacity offers and bids, demand resource offers, transmission upgrade offers, review resulting resource position, create bilateral transactions, view load obligations and generate charge reports. The tool also allows what-if analysis to predict future deficiency charges.
Benefits
Proven, secure, enterprise-level system that can handle up to several hundred users. Centralized, web-based system allows users distributed over wide geographic locations to utilize one system for all their requirements, from data collection to analysis, and reporting. Role-based security allows for simple administration. Manages the entire auction process and submission to PJM Provides “What-If-Analysis” and “Historical Analysis” features to calculate sell-offer EFORd, EFORp, and different types of changes. Forecasting financial metrics to be utilized by P&L and to estimate liabilities. Analysis of RPM commitment for a unit/LDA. User can see in the future whether there would be shortfall of RPM commitment and thus execute various MW transactions Ease of customization: Integ recognizes that each client’s processes, data flows, and systems are unique. PowerRPM is a flexible, customizable system that will ensure that the system fits current processes and not the other way around. Corporations do not often realize or compute the switching costs from changing processes to meet the requirements of inflexible software. Dashboard view: Users can view fleet-wide or unit-specific capacity position for various time periods in a graphical way. Integration with ISO systems: System validates capacity values across different PJM systems such as eMKT, eGADS and eDART.

Features
Assumption Tracking: Audit capability in PowerRPM records every change made to each data item used for capacity assumptions; Capability to trace the transformation of all the items over time, either in textual or graphical format. Scenario Analysis: Scenario-based analysis allows users to make anecdotal assumptions and study the impact of the assumptions on capacity position and financial consequence. Users can forecast future performance metrics, various eRPM charges, EFORd and EFORp using the scenario analysis. eRPM Management: Ability to download reports from eRPM; Manage entire auction process; Manage entire bilateral, unit transaction process. ACR: Process avoidable cost rate for replacement capacity. Performance Management: View unit-level/fleet-level generator performance assessments across delivery years. Calculates all the deficiency reports: historical, real-time and forward looking; Analysis of RPM commitment for a unit/LDA. Settlement: Verification and settlement of various charges, billing of eRPM.
